About the Educator Ambassador Initiative
In early 2018, WGBH, in collaboration with WGBY, launched a program to recruit educators from across the Commonwealth to work with us on the development and dissemination of education resources, and help us develop our role as a public media partner in education. The Educator Ambassador program is now in its second year, and we've assembled a group of engaged, innovative teachers who teach in a wide variety of roles, disciplines, grade-bands, and communities.
As Educator Ambassadors, these teachers will act as a sounding board for our projects, providing professional feedback and insight based on teacher experience. They will collaborate with us in a variety of ways to reach out to other educators across Massachusetts, building awareness of the work we're doing in educational resource development and teacher support. Educator Ambassadors will also receive opportunities for networking and professional development.
To contact an Educator Ambassador in your area, please email Carolyn Jacobs, Senior Manager for Teacher Training and Engagement, carolyn_jacobs@wgbh.org.
